The Brief
To design a wine exhibition stand which embraces a vinyard aesthetic.
The space is to have 3 main purposes:
1) A networking area
2) Custom wine bar and bottle display
3) To be an immersive experience
The Design
Personally I find the most memorable part of vinyards to be the countryside views and the strong smell of wine from the estate. I wanted to ensure these features were included in the exhibiton stand design to allow visitors to truly embrace the vinyard experience.
The bar area is the focal point of the stand. With the company logo illumiated behind, customers instantly know what is on offer. Here tasting glasses of wine are handed out to allow visitors to have a taste of luxury.
The custom-made bar stools are height adjustable which allow them to double as side tables for the bench seating area.
Surrounding the outdoor-style timber bench seating are picture screens which showcase the bautiful vinyard views of the rolling hills and rows of grape trees. This created the perfect place to network and sit down with a glass of English wine.
Hidden amoungst the wine bottles found on the shelving and tables are diffusers. These re-purposed wine bottles emit the fruity aroma of the wine, filling the air with smells to set the mood and start conversations.
